Are there other ways that I can learn how the offender is doing?


Yes. Members of the public, including victims’ families, are allowed to attend parole hearings as observers. Information is shared at that time about the programs the offender is taking and about how he or she is doing in the institution – if the person is following the Correctional Plan or not.
