What programs could the offender take?

Many programs are offered to help offenders work on factors related to their criminal behaviour so that their chances of reoffending when they are released are reduced. Each offender has a Correctional Plan with individual programming and treatment needs. Most offenders would participate in one or more of the following programs:

  • Living Skills Programming

  • Substance Abuse Intervention

  • Sex Offender Treatment Programs

  • Violence Prevention Programs

  • Family Violence Programs

  • Aboriginal Programs

  • Women Offender Programs

  • Ethnocultural Programs

  • Education Programs (adult basic education, secondary, vocational and post-secondary education)

  • Industrial and Agribusiness Program

  • Chaplaincy Program
